evil Ice Queen, was a golden age of peace and prosperity. For many generations, Vidalia was the center of trade, commerce, and protection from the outlying lands beyond the influence of the Vidalian Monarchy.
That was until the warrior queen, Hitomi VII, was assassinated without a direct heir to the throne. Nephews, cousins, uncles, all laid claim to the throne and the unity of the kingdom was quickly torn asunder. Queen Hitomi’s nephew, Prince Rycroft, a ruthless and power-hungry man, but a man with the strongest claim to the throne, was able to take control of the capital city of Everglade and proclaimed himself King of all Vidalia. While the city itself is mostly stable, constant threats from rival claimants and enemy outlying lands has led to constant battle and a need for a steady stream of warriors ready to support the claims of King Rycroft and bring stability back to the realm.
( Game description is based on Broken Realm's backstory. )
Game Features:
* Class: Broken Realm offers four (4) classes you can choose from: Barbarian, Archer, Paladin and Mage.
4 Classes |
Barbarian: Tank, Melee DPS. Barbarians are blessed with excellent defensive attributes, high HP and high Physical Attack. You don't want to make these guys angry.
Archer: Control, Ranged DPS. Preferring to keep their enemies at distance, archers utilize bows and traps to subdue their foes. Archers hold high crit and dodge ratings.
Paladin: Stealth, Melee DPS. Paladins utilize a combination of brute force and strong magic. High attack and Crit ratings mean they often kill their foes before they even have a chance to react.
Mage: Magic DPS, Healer, Support. Intelligent fighters, mages are versatile and highly valued in any party, healing and strengthening their allies, while ravaging their enemies.
Descriptions are based on Broken Realm's character information.
* Quest: Just like with other games, doing quest became easier to do because of the Auto-path system. But here, when you have a quest which involves killing monster, just click the hyperlink quest text and it will automatically attack the required monster.
* Combat: You can directly engage in combat by clicking the monster itself and start pressing your skills.
* Rankings: Rankings can let you view the latest top and leading players in Broken Realms. You can click their names if you want to view their equipments. A system like this is quite helpful because there are times, especially when we are newbie, we seek help regarding on what should the right thing to do with our equipments and what should be the right stats build. * Mount: Your mount is very useful. Aside from gaining extra movement speed, it also gives you additional attributes. You can upgrade your mount, or let us just say "morph" it. Morphing your mounts gives you more additional attributes and your mount a new appearance.
Mount System |
* Graphics: The game graphics is good. With lots of special effects, the game becomes a realistic MMORPG game.
* Game Interface: The game interface is good. Everything is just properly placed like the game menus and tabs. What bothers me most are the monsters. I think they are too big and too many. They almost covered my character because they respawn fast. Maybe an AoE skills can help, let's just keep on exploring this game.
